Pat Burns Has Colon Cancer
New Jersey Devils
head coach, Pat Burns, announced on Sunday, April 18, 2004, that he has been diagnosed with colon cancer and will begin treatment
immediately.
He apparantly was diagnosed just prior to the start of the playoffs. Had the Devils advanced
past the first round, he said he would have been unable to continue coaching the later rounds.
DEVILS LOSE SERIES TO FLYERS 4-1
The hockey world witnessed the end of an era. At least we have 3 cups in 9 years. Take that
Flyers & Leafs!! We'll be back next year, and you can count on us to be bigger, stronger, better!!

I'm a huge fan of the Devils, and have been since 1996. I live in Hamilton, Ontario .I have
been to New Jersey a couple of times and really enjoyed it.the tail gate parties before the game, which is illegal in boring
old Toronto. It's not the quantity of the fans, it's the quality. That is why Devil's fans are the best. I hope you enjoy
the new format of the site.
